They Said “Go Where You Are Valued”… So I Ran to God π€π
Dear mommy...
Have you ever felt emotionally exhausted from trying so hard to be enough for everyone? π₯Ί
- Enough as a mother.
- Enough as a wife.
- Enough as a daughter.
- Enough as a friend.
Sometimes the saddest feeling is not being hated…
It is feeling unnoticed in places where you gave your purest love. π
People often say:
“Go where you are valued.”
And honestly?
That sentence stayed in my heart for a long time.
Because there comes a moment when your soul becomes tired of begging for love, understanding, attention, or appreciation. π§️
So one day… instead of running after people who made me question my worth…
I ran to God. π€✨
God Became the Place Where I Felt Safe π️
Not every pain can be explained to people
- Some wounds are too deep for words.
- Some tears fall silently at midnight.
- Some heartbreaks happen while smiling in front of everyone.
But God sees it all. π
He notices the tired mother still trying her best.
He notices the woman silently carrying emotional pain.
He notices the person who feels forgotten by the world.
And the beautiful thing about God’s love is this:
✨ You never have to earn it.
People may value you based on what you do for them.
But God values you simply because you exist.
Sometimes We Run Everywhere Except to God π
We run to social media for distraction. π±
We run to people for validation.
We run to overthinking for answers. π
But peace comes differently when you sit quietly with God.
Because His presence heals what this world cannot heal. π€
Not instantly.
Not magically.
But slowly… deeply… gently. π·
Bible Verse to hold on π✨
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
If your heart feels heavy today, read that verse again slowly. π€
God is not distant from your pain.
He is near to it.
A Small Prayer for You
Dear God,
Please comfort every heart reading this today.
Heal the silent pain nobody knows about.
Remind them that they are loved, valued, and never alone. π€
Give strength to the tired mother, peace to the anxious mind, and hope to the discouraged soul. π·
Help us stop chasing validation from people and start finding our worth in You.
Amen.
If you ever feel unwanted, ignored, emotionally tired, or forgotten…
Please remember this:
✨ Your value does not decrease because someone failed to see your worth.
Sometimes the safest place to run is not into another person’s arms…
But into God’s presence. π€π️
