The Silent Day Between the Cross and the Resurrection..

There was a day when everything felt quiet.

The cross had already happened.

Jesus had been crucified.

The tomb was sealed.

For the disciples and followers of Jesus, it felt like the end of everything.

This was the silent day between the cross and the resurrection.

🌑 A Day of Silence

After the pain of Good Friday, the world seemed to pause.

Jesus’ body lay in the tomb.

His followers were heartbroken and afraid.

They had believed He was the Savior.

They had hoped He would change everything.

But now, the tomb was closed, and hope seemed buried.

Sometimes life also feels like this silent day.

A moment when prayers seem unanswered and nothing seems to change.

🌿 But God Was Still Working

Even though the world saw silence, God’s plan was still moving forward.

The tomb was not the end of the story.

The silence was not defeat.

It was the moment before the greatest miracle in history.

Sometimes God works in the quiet moments we do not understand.

Even when we cannot see it, He is preparing something greater.

✝️ The Promise of Resurrection

The silent day reminds us of something powerful.

Just because God is silent does not mean He is absent.

Just because nothing seems to be happening does not mean God has stopped working.

After the silence came the resurrection.

After the darkness came the light.

After the tomb came victory.

📖 Bible Verse

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!”

— Luke 24:5–6

A Short Prayer

Lord,

When life feels silent and uncertain, help us trust that You are still working.

Give us faith to believe that every dark moment can lead to a new beginning.

Amen.

🌸 The silent day between the cross and the resurrection teaches us something important.

Even when everything feels quiet…

God is still writing the story.

And sometimes, the silence is only the beginning of a miracle.

With love,
Anisha.
