Dear Mom, God Sends a Ruth When You Need One Most...
Sometimes life takes us through seasons we never expected.
There are days when everything feels heavy…
when the people we once relied on are no longer around…
when the future feels uncertain and our hearts feel tired.
Dear Mom, if you have ever felt this way, you are not alone. 💔
The Bible tells us a powerful story about two women who walked through pain together — Naomi and Ruth.
Their story reminds us of one beautiful truth:
✨ God always sends the right people into our lives at the right time.
And sometimes… that person is a Ruth.
When Naomi Lost Everything
Naomi once had a happy life.
She had a husband.
She had two sons.
She had a family and a future.
But suddenly life changed.
Naomi lost her husband.
Then she lost her sons too.
Her world collapsed.
She felt empty, broken, and hopeless.
In her pain Naomi even said:
“Do not call me Naomi. Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter.”
— Ruth 1:20
Naomi believed her story was over.
But God was quietly preparing something beautiful.
The Loyalty of Ruth
Naomi told her daughters-in-law to return to their own families.
One of them left.
But Ruth stayed.
Ruth made a decision that would change everything.
She said these unforgettable words:
“Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.”
— Ruth 1:16
- Ruth chose love over comfort.
- Loyalty over convenience.
- Faith over fear.
Even when life looked uncertain, she stayed beside Naomi.
Dear Mom, that is the kind of person God sometimes sends into our lives.
A Ruth.
Someone who stands beside us even when the road is difficult.
God Was Still Writing Naomi’s Story
Naomi thought her story had ended in pain.
But God had already started a new chapter.
Through Ruth, God brought unexpected blessings.
Ruth later met Boaz and married him.
And something incredible happened.
Ruth became the great-grandmother of King David.
Even more amazing…
She became part of the family line of Jesus Christ.
What Naomi thought was the end of her story… was actually the beginning of God’s greater plan.
Dear Mom, God Still Sends “Ruths”
Sometimes we go through seasons where we feel alone.
- Maybe you are carrying responsibilities silently.
- Maybe you feel misunderstood.
- Maybe you are tired from giving so much to your family.
But God sees every tear. 💛
And when the time is right, He sends the right people into our lives.
A friend who understands.
A person who encourages us.
Someone who stands beside us when life is hard.
Just like Naomi received Ruth, God still sends Ruths today.
A Question for Your Heart 💭
Pause for a moment and think about this:
✨ Has God ever sent someone into your life at the exact moment you needed them?
Maybe a friend.
Maybe a family member.
Maybe even a stranger who spoke the right words at the right time.
Sometimes those people are God’s quiet answer to our prayers.

Dear God,
Thank You for being present in every season of our lives.
When we feel lonely, remind us that You are near.
Send the right people into our lives who encourage us, support us, and walk beside us.
Help us also become a Ruth in someone else’s life.
Fill every mom reading this with Your peace, hope, and strength.
