The One They Rejected… God Made the Cornerstone

Have you ever felt invisible?
Like people don’t notice you…
don’t value you…
or don’t even care that you exist?
Sometimes life makes us feel like we are not important enough.
But today, I want to remind you of a beautiful truth:
Even when people ignore you… Jesus sees you.
A Man No One Liked
In the Bible, there was a man named Zacchaeus.
He was not loved by people.
In fact, many people hated him.
He was a tax collector — and in those days, tax collectors were known for cheating others.
So people:
• avoided him
• judged him
• ignored him
Zacchaeus lived among people… but still felt alone.
The Desire to See Jesus
One day, Zacchaeus heard that Jesus was passing by.
Something in his heart wanted to see Him.
But there was a problem.
Zacchaeus was short,
and the crowd blocked his view.
Still, he didn’t give up.
He ran ahead and climbed a tree just to get a glimpse of Jesus.
The Moment Everything Changed
When Jesus reached that place, something unexpected happened.
Jesus stopped.
He looked up.
And He called Zacchaeus by name.
👉 “Zacchaeus, come down. I must stay at your house today.”
Out of all the people in the crowd…
Jesus chose the one everyone ignored..
Chosen, Not Rejected
That moment changed Zacchaeus’ life.
People saw a sinner.
But Jesus saw a heart.
People rejected him.
But Jesus chose him.
The Bible reminds us:
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
Just like that stone, Zacchaeus was rejected by people…
But he became chosen by God.
What This Means for You
Dear sister ❤️
Maybe today you feel:
• ignored
• left out
• misunderstood
• not valued
Maybe people don’t see your worth.
But listen to this gently:
God does not see you the way people see you.
Where others reject…
God chooses.
Where others ignore…
God calls your name.
Jesus Sees You
You don’t have to prove yourself to the world.
You don’t have to chase people’s approval.
Because the One who truly matters…
Already sees you.
Already knows you.
Already chooses you.
A Short Prayer for You
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for seeing me even when others ignore me.
Help me remember that my value comes from You, not from people.
Give me confidence in Your love and peace in my heart.
Just like You called Zacchaeus, call me closer to You every day.
Amen.

even if people walk past you…
Jesus will always stop for you.
Because to Him,
you are not invisible…
