The Love That Carried the Cross – A Love Greater Than All
Hello dear sister 🤍
In this world, we experience many kinds of love.
- We receive love from our parents.
- We feel love from our partner.
- We share love with friends, siblings, and family members.
These relationships are beautiful and important in our lives.
But sometimes we also learn a painful truth — human love is not always perfect.
People can misunderstand us.
People can hurt us.
Sometimes relationships change or break.
But there is one love that never changes.
The love of Jesus.
The Love That Carried the Cross
Jesus did not simply speak about love.
He demonstrated it on the cross.
The cross was not easy.
It was painful.
It was humiliating.
Yet Jesus carried that cross willingly.
Why?
Because of His love for you and me.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Jesus carried the cross knowing the suffering ahead, yet He continued because His love was greater than the pain.
Human Love vs Jesus’ Love
Human love can be beautiful, but it has limits.
- Parents may love deeply.
- Friends may care sincerely.
- Partners may stand beside us.
Yet every human relationship has weaknesses.
But Jesus’ love is different.
- His love is unconditional.
- His love is sacrificial.
- His love is eternal.
Even when people leave, misunderstand, or hurt us, Jesus never abandons us.
The Love That Never Changes
The world changes.
People change.
Situations change.
But the love of Jesus remains the same.
He loves you in your weakness.
He loves you in your struggles.
He loves you even when you feel unworthy.
The cross is the greatest proof of that love.
A Short Prayer For You:
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for loving us with a love that is greater than anything in this world.
Help us remember that Your love never fails, even when life becomes difficult.
Fill our hearts with peace and remind us that we are deeply loved by You.
Amen.
Dear sister,
Many people may love you in this world.
But remember this truth:
The greatest love ever shown is the love that carried the cross.
And that love was for you.
