Jesus Knew He Would Be Betrayed… Yet He Served
Hello my dear sister,
Today…
I want to talk about something that is not easy.
Something we all feel…
But rarely admit.
💔 When Someone Hurts You…
Have you ever been hurt by someone you trusted?
Someone you loved…
Someone you cared for…
Someone you never expected would break your heart…
And in that moment…
What did you feel?
👉 Pain
👉 Anger
👉 The desire to step back…
👉 Or even… the desire for revenge
Because let’s be honest…
It’s hard to stay kind when your heart is hurting.
✝️ But Then… There Is Jesus
There is a moment in the Bible that always shakes me.
Jesus knew Judas would betray Him.
He knew the pain that was coming…
He knew the cross was near…
He knew everything.
And yet…
He still washed Judas’ feet.
😢 Think About That for a Moment
He didn’t avoid him…
He didn’t ignore him…
He didn’t treat him differently…
He served him.
With love.
With humility.
With grace.
💔 A Love That Feels Impossible
Honestly…
This kind of love feels impossible, right?
Because when someone hurts us,
we want distance… not service.
We want justice… not grace.
We want to protect our heart… not open it again.
💖 But This Is What Makes Jesus Different
Jesus didn’t love based on how people treated Him.
He loved based on who He is.
👉 Even when He was hurt… He chose love
👉 Even when He was betrayed… He chose grace
👉 Even when He knew the truth… He still served
🌿 What About Us?
Dear sister…
Maybe someone hurt you.
Maybe someone disappointed you.
Maybe someone broke your trust.
And maybe… deep inside…
you are still carrying that pain.
💫 A Gentle Reminder
You don’t have to choose revenge.
Not because it’s easy…
But because you are called to something higher.
You are called to reflect Christ.
✝️ No Revenge… Only Grace
Let this be your quiet strength:
👉 “I don’t choose revenge…
because I follow a God of grace.”
Forgiveness doesn’t mean the pain was small.
It means your heart is choosing freedom.
A Short Prayer For You:
Lord,
You saw betrayal… yet You chose love.
Teach me to have a heart like Yours.
When I feel hurt, remind me of Your grace.
Help me to let go of revenge
and hold on to Your peace.
Amen.
🌸 Sometimes…
the strongest thing you can do
is not to fight back…
But to love anyway.
Because Jesus knew…
and still chose to serve.
