You Don’t Have to Fix Her—Just Sit With Her

Hello my dear sister,

This is for you.

And this is also for the woman you know…

the one who smiles politely but grows quieter every day.

The one who says “I’m fine” too quickly.

The one who slowly stopped calling, replying, or showing up.

She may be depressed.

She may be lonely.

She may be fighting battles she doesn’t know how to explain.

And maybe you are wondering,

What should I say? What should I do?

Let me gently tell you this first:

You don’t have to fix her.

You just have to sit with her.

🤍 Not Every Pain Needs Advice

When a woman is hurting deeply,

  • she doesn’t always need answers.
  • She doesn’t need long sermons.
  • She doesn’t need quick solutions.

Most of the time, she needs presence.

Someone who stays.

Someone who listens without interrupting.

Someone who doesn’t rush her healing.

Silence, when shared with love, can heal more than words.

🌸 Be a Safe Place, Not a Perfect One

You don’t need the right words.

You don’t need to understand everything she feels.

You just need to make her feel safe.

Safe to cry.

Safe to be quiet.

Safe to say, “I’m not okay.”

When you sit with her without judgment,

you become a small reflection of how God sits with us.

🕊️ God Often Uses Women to Comfort Women

Sometimes, God answers prayers not with miracles from the sky,

but with a woman who shows up.

A woman who checks in.

A woman who prays quietly.

A woman who says, “I’m here.”

Your listening heart might be the very comfort God is sending.

🌿 When You Don’t Know What to Say

Here are simple, gentle words that matter:

• “I’m here with you.”

• “You don’t have to explain.”

• “Take your time.”

• “You’re not a burden.”

• “You matter.”

These words don’t fix everything.
But they open the door for healing.

🙏 Pray for Her, Even When She Can’t Pray

Sometimes, depression steals words from the heart.

When she cannot pray, pray for her.

When she feels forgotten, remember her before God.

When she feels weak, stand in faith for her.

Prayer doesn’t need to be loud.

God hears whispered prayers too.

🌷 To the Woman Who Is Hurting

If you are reading this and thinking, This is me…

Please hear this gently:

  • You are not weak.
  • You are not broken beyond repair.
  • You are not alone.
  • Your silence is not invisible to God.
  • Your tears are not wasted.
  • Your life still holds meaning.

Even if you can’t feel hope right now,

hope is holding onto you.

A Gentle Prayer For You:

Dear Lord,

Teach us to be gentle with hurting hearts.

Help us to listen more than we speak.

Use our presence as comfort.

Wrap every woman who feels lonely in Your peace.

Amen.

Sometimes, the most Christ-like thing we can do

is not to preach, not to advise, not to fix…

But to stay.

So today, if you see a woman hurting,

sit with her.

That alone can change everything 🤍

With love,
Anisha.
