God Met Me in a Season I Wanted to Skip
Hello my dear mommies,
There are seasons we wish we could fast-forward.
Days we don’t want to feel.
Moments we don’t want to sit with.
A phase of life we quietly tell ourselves,
“I just want this to be over.”
Maybe you’ve been there too.
You’re not asking for everything to be perfect —
you’re just hoping this part will end soon.
But something unexpected happens in seasons like that 🤍
God doesn’t wait on the other side.
He steps into the middle of it.
I didn’t expect to meet God there.
Not in the tired days.
Not in the unanswered prayers.
Not in the moments when my heart felt unsure.
I thought God would meet me after this season,
when things were clearer, calmer, lighter.
But instead, He met me right here.
In the ordinary mornings.
In the quiet evenings.
In the days I wanted to skip but had to live through.
Sometimes God doesn’t remove the season.
He walks with us through it.
And slowly, without us noticing,
the season we wanted to avoid
becomes the place where our faith deepens.
Not louder.
Not showy.
Just real.
📖 “Even though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.”
— Psalm 23:4
🌷 A Gentle Truth for Today
If you’re in a season you don’t like…
If you’re waiting for it to pass…
If your heart feels tired of “being strong”…
This season is not empty.
God is not absent here.
He is present — quietly, faithfully.
And one day, you may look back and realize:
the season you wanted to skip
was the season where God met you most closely.
A Short Prayer For You:
God,
meet me here, even when this season feels heavy.
Help me trust that You are with me,
not just after this passes, but right now.
Amen
🌈 You don’t have to rush this season.
🌈 You don’t have to escape it.
🌈 Because God is already here with you.
🌈 And sometimes, that is enough.
