People Failed Me, Jesus Didn’t

Hello My dear sweet mommy,

Let me ask you something gently… 💬

Have you ever trusted someone with your whole heart — only to be disappointed later? 💔

Not a stranger.

Not an enemy.

But someone you believed in.

You trusted their words.

You believed their promises.

You leaned on them when life felt heavy.

And one day… they weren’t there. 😔

If you’re nodding silently right now, this blog is for you 🤍

💔 When Trusting People Leaves Your Heart Tired

People don’t always fail us intentionally.

Sometimes they:

Change 🚶‍♀️

Choose themselves first

Get tired

Walk away without explanation

But the pain still feels the same.

You trusted.

You hoped.

You expected consistency.

And when it broke, it didn’t just hurt,

it changed how you trust.

You became careful.

You became guarded.

You told yourself, “I won’t trust like that again.”

🌱 The Day I Realised the Difference

At some point in life, many of us come to this quiet realisation:

👉 People have limits.

👉 Jesus doesn’t.

People promise with good intentions.

Jesus promises with absolute faithfulness.

People say, “I’ll be there.”

Jesus says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” ✨

And He means it.

📖 What the Bible Says

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord

than to trust in humans.”

— Psalm 118:8 🤍

This verse isn’t telling us to hate people.

It’s teaching us where our foundation should be.

People are human.

Jesus is constant.

People may forget.

Jesus remembers every tear. 💧

🤍 Why Jesus Never Fails the Way People Do

Jesus doesn’t:

  • Make empty promises ❌
  • Love you based on convenience
  • Stay only when life is easy

He stays:

  • When you’re silent 🤫
  • When you’re broken 💔
  • When you don’t understand what He’s doing

Even when you say,

“Lord, I don’t know how to trust anymore…”

He gently says,

“Trust Me with what’s left.” 🕊️

💬 Let’s Talk Honestly for a Moment

Have you ever prayed like this?

“God, I trusted them… and it hurt.”

“I don’t know how to trust again.”

“I’m scared of being disappointed.”

Jesus isn’t offended by that prayer.

He welcomes it.

Because He knows:

What was promised and not kept

What was said and not done

What was taken from your heart

And still, He says:

Come to Me.” 🤍

🌸 Trusting Jesus Doesn’t Break the Heart — It Heals It

When you trust people:

You depend on their strength

When you trust Jesus:

You rest in His faithfulness

Trusting Jesus doesn’t mean:

Life becomes perfect

Pain disappears overnight

It means:

You’re never alone in it

Your heart begins to heal

Hope grows again 🌱

Slowly… gently… surely.

🕊️ If This Is You Today…

If you’ve been hurt by people…

If you’re cautious with your heart…

If you’ve said, “I’ll never trust again…”

Let me remind you of this truth:

👉 People failed you. Jesus didn’t.

👉 People left. Jesus stayed.

👉 People disappointed. Jesus remained faithful.

And He still is..

A Short Prayer for You

Jesus,

You saw every time I trusted and got hurt.

You know why my heart feels tired.

Help me place my trust in You again — not fearfully, but safely.

Heal what people broke.

Teach me to rest in Your faithfulness.

Amen.

You’re not weak because you trusted.

You’re not foolish for believing.

You’re human.

But today, you can choose something different —

not hardened trust,

not closed hearts,

but safe trust.

Because people may fail you…

✨ But Jesus never will. ✨

With love,
