Some Prayers Are Still Unanswered — And That’s Okay

Hello my dear sister...

💭 Before this year ends, can I ask you something honestly?

How many prayers did you whisper this year that are still waiting for an answer?

Not the loud prayers.

Not the ones people know about.

But the quiet ones.

The ones you prayed with tears.

The ones you prayed when no one was watching.

The ones you prayed at night when your heart felt tired and heavy. 💔

If you’re reading this on December 31st, maybe your heart is doing a quiet review of 2025.

And maybe you’re thinking:

“I prayed… but nothing changed.”

“I waited… but the door didn’t open.”

“I believed… but the breakthrough didn’t come.”

“God, why is this still unanswered?”

If that’s you — pause right here. 🫶

This blog is for you.

🌿 Let’s Say This Out Loud

Some prayers are still unanswered.

And that’s okay.

Not because they don’t matter.

Not because God didn’t hear you.

Not because your faith was weak.

But because God’s story is still being written.

🕊️ Unanswered Does NOT Mean Ignored

One of the hardest things about faith is learning this truth:

God’s silence is not God’s absence.

Just because heaven didn’t move the way you expected

doesn’t mean heaven didn’t move at all.

Sometimes God answers with “Yes.”

Sometimes with “No.”

And sometimes with “Not yet.”

And “not yet” is often the answer that stretches us the most.

💭 Let Me Talk to You — Woman to Woman

Maybe you prayed for:

And tonight, as 2025 closes, it feels heavy to carry unanswered prayers into a new year.

If that’s how you feel, I want you to know something:

✨ You are allowed to step into 2026 without having everything resolved.

✨ You are allowed to trust God even with unfinished stories.

Faith doesn’t mean everything is fixed.

Faith means you’re still holding God’s hand while waiting.

📖 A Verse for This Moment

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Proverbs 3:5

Notice what this verse doesn’t say.

It doesn’t say:

✔ Trust when it makes sense

✔ Trust when answers are clear

✔ Trust when prayers are answered

It says trust anyway.

Even when you don’t understand.

Even when the year ends without closure.

Even when your heart still aches.

🌙 Why God Sometimes Waits

This may be hard to hear — but listen with love.

Sometimes God delays the answer because:

He’s protecting you

He’s preparing you

He’s aligning things you can’t see

He’s growing your inner strength

He’s shaping your character

He’s working behind the scenes

What feels like delay to us is often care from God.

💔 If 2025 Didn’t Turn Out the Way You Prayed…

It does NOT mean: ❌ You failed

❌ God forgot you

❌ Your prayers were useless

❌ Your faith was weak

It simply means this chapter isn’t finished yet.

And some of the most beautiful testimonies begin with:

“I didn’t understand then… but now I do.”

✨ A Gentle Reminder Before Midnight

As this year closes, don’t measure your life by:

What you didn’t get

What didn’t happen

What you lost

What you’re still waiting for

Instead, look at:

How far you’ve come

What you survived

How God sustained you

How you’re still standing

The fact that you are here — breathing, hoping, believing —that itself is grace. 🤍

A Short Prayer for You

Lord,

As this year comes to an end, I bring You my unanswered prayers.

I give You my disappointments, my waiting, and my tired heart.

Help me trust You even when I don’t understand Your timing.

Carry me into the new year with peace, hope, and renewed faith.

I believe You are still working — even in silence.

Amen.

🕯️ Before You Enter 2026… Do This One Thing

Write down:

One prayer you’re still waiting for

And beside it, write this sentence:

“God is not finished with this yet.”

Then breathe.

Rest.

Release the pressure.

You don’t have to carry answers into the new year.

You only have to carry trust.

🌅 Final Words for December 31st

Some prayers are still unanswered but God is still faithful.

Some doors are still closed but God is still guiding.

Some tears are still falling but God is still near.

Walk into 2026 gently.

With hope.

With faith.

With a heart that still believes.

You are not late.

You are not forgotten.

And your story is not over. 💛

With love,
Anisha.
