🌟 Day 2 — The Promise Still Stands: Why You Can Still Believe for a Miracle..🕊️🙌
Christmas Series — Grace for Moms
Let me start with a small confession.
This morning, before the sun even came up, I was sitting by the window with my coffee, looking at the sky still dark and quiet. And suddenly this thought came to me:
“How long, Lord?”
Have you ever whispered that too? 😔❤️
Not loudly.
Not angrily.
Just… quietly.
In that place where your heart feels something aching beneath the surface.
Maybe you're waiting for a financial breakthrough.
Maybe a healing — in your body or your heart.
Maybe you want peace in your home, your marriage, or your mind.
Maybe you're waiting for a child to change…
a door to open…
a fear to break…
or a miracle to show up… finally.
And you wonder:
💭 “Is it still possible?”
💭 “Is God still listening?”
💭 “Will His promise come true for ME?”
My friend… if you are in that place today, this devotional is for you. 🤍✨
🌿 The Heart of Today’s Message
God’s promise still stands — even when nothing around you feels like it.
You may not see change yet.
You may not feel progress yet.
You may not hear anything yet.
You may even feel forgotten…
But the truth is powerful and unchanging:
If God said it — it still stands.
If God began it — He will finish it.
If God promised it — He will perform it.
Christmas is the living proof.
📖 Scripture for Today:
Isaiah 55:11
“So is My Word that goes out from My mouth:
It will not return to Me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
God’s Word never fails.
It never expires.
It never loses power.
And it never goes back to heaven unfinished. ✨
🌟 But what about the waiting?
Let’s be real for a moment, okay?
Waiting is HARD. 😣
Especially for moms.
We wait for healing.
We wait for answers.
We wait for strength.
We wait for something to change — anything.
Sometimes waiting feels like silence.
Sometimes silence feels like “Maybe God forgot me.”
Sometimes we even start thinking:
👉 “Maybe it was not God’s plan at all…”
But here is the truth the enemy doesn’t want you to know:
Silence is not absence. And waiting is not rejection.
Even in silence, heaven is working.
Even in waiting, God is moving.
Even when you see nothing, God is preparing everything.
🌠 Christmas Proves That God Always Keeps His Promises
Think about this…
God promised the Savior in Genesis 3:15 — at the very beginning of creation.
But Jesus didn’t come until thousands of years later.
Was the promise slow?
To us — yes.
To God — never.
It came at the perfect time. ✨
Just like your promise will.
🌸 Mama, let’s get personal for a second…
Can I ask you something gently today?
What promise are YOU holding on to?
A healing?
A restored relationship?
A financial breakthrough?
A baby?
A stable job?
Whatever it is, I want you to hear this with all the love in my heart:
🌟 You are not foolish for believing.
🌟 You are not late in receiving.
🌟 You are not forgotten in the waiting.
🌟 You are not alone in the journey.
If God has whispered something to you…
If He has led you through Scripture…
If He has confirmed it in your spirit…
Then trust the process —
because His promise still stands.
🕊️ When everything looks opposite… trust Him anyway
Sometimes God’s promises take time…
Not because He is delaying…
But because He is preparing.
Some miracles need:
✔️ the right people
✔️ the right timing
✔️ the right spiritual maturity
✔️ the right environment
✔️ the right season
God doesn’t give unfinished blessings.
He gives complete and perfect gifts. 🎁✨
🌌 A beautiful example: The Star Over Bethlehem
No prophets.
No signs.
No angels.
Just silence.
But then — one night —
God placed a star in the sky. 🌟
A sign that…
✨ The promise was still alive.
The miracle was on the way.
The wait was worth it.
And guess what?
Your star moment is coming too.
You may not see it yet…
But something is shifting.
God is aligning the unseen.
💛 Let’s Do a Heart Check Together
Take a moment and breathe.
Slowly.
Deeply.
Now ask your heart:
➡️ “What have I stopped believing for?”
➡️ “What promise feels too late?”
➡️ “Where have I lost hope?”
Write it down if you can.
Bring it to God.
Place it gently in His hands.
Then whisper this:
“Lord, I still believe.
Your promise still stands.”
🤍✨
Even saying it opens a door in your spirit.
Prayer for Day 2
Jesus,
Thank You that Your promises are true and unchanging.
Strengthen my heart where it has grown tired.
Renew my faith where it has weakened.
Give me courage to believe again.
Help me trust Your timing, Your heart, and Your plan for my life.
I place my hopes, dreams, and tears in Your hands today.
Amen.
📝 Today’s Reflection Activity
Write ONE promise you are believing for.
Then complete this sentence:
👉 “Even if I don’t see it yet, God is still working.”
Stick it on your fridge, mirror, or journal.
With love,
Anisha.
