🌟 Day 10 — Preparing Him Room: Making Space for Jesus in a Busy Season
✨Christmas Series-Grace for Moms✨
👋 Hey sweet Sister…
Can we sit together for a moment today?
I don’t know how your home feels right now…
but mine looks a little like Christmas chaos. 🎄😅
There are clothes on the sofa,
half-wrapped gifts on the table,
kids asking for snacks every 10 minutes,
a sink winking at me with unwashed dishes…
and a heart that is whispering:
“Lord, where do I even find time for You?”
Ever been there?
Your heart wants Jesus…
but your schedule wants something else?
Let me tell you something gently today:
You’re not a bad Christian.
You’re not failing.
You’re not behind.
You’re simply busy and human —
and Jesus already knows that. 🤍
But still…
He wants a room in your heart.
🌿 The Heart of Today’s Message
When Mary and Joseph arrived in Bethlehem,
everyone was busy.
Everyone had a reason.
Everyone had their own priorities.
But one detail stands out in Scripture:
“There was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7)
Not because people hated them.
Not because anyone wanted to reject Jesus.
But simply because…
their rooms were already full.
And today, Jesus gently asks both of us:
“Is there room for Me?”
Not perfect room.
Not beautiful room.
Not quiet room.
Just room.
A space.
A moment.
A breath.
A yes.
💬 Let’s get honest together
Think of your heart like a house.
What fills your rooms right now?
For most of us, it’s things like:
😩 stress😴 exhaustion
And without realizing it,
we run out of emotional space for the One who brings peace.
But here’s the beautiful truth:
Jesus doesn’t need a throne room — He just needs a corner.
A moment.
A pause.
A little space for you to breathe and let Him in.
🌟 What does “preparing Him room” look like for moms?
It’s not about reading 5 chapters of the Bible.
It’s not about praying for 1 hour.
It’s not about being perfect.
It can be as simple as:
✨ Whispering “Jesus, I need You” while folding laundry
✨ Listening to a worship song while cooking
✨ Reading one verse before bed
✨ Talking to God while bathing your kids
✨ Taking 30 seconds of stillness
✨ Thinking about Jesus while driving or sweeping
Dear Sister, don’t underestimate these small moments.
They are holy moments.
Because Jesus notices every single one.
🌌 The Miracle of Small Spaces
The Savior of the world didn’t need a palace.
He didn’t need a decorated nursery.
He didn’t need a beautiful space.
He was happy with a humble manger.
A simple, quiet, ordinary space.
So if all you have today is:
– a tired heart,
– a messy room,
– an overwhelmed mind,
– 5 minutes alone…
He says:
“I’ll take it. I’ll fill it. I’ll use it.”
🌠 A Gentle Thought for Today
Maybe your heart feels full…
but not full of peace.
Maybe your mind feels crowded…
but not with joy.
Maybe your December feels busy…
but not blessed.
If so, let Jesus in —
even into the messy rooms.
Even into the noisy rooms.
Even into the forgotten rooms.
He doesn’t ask for perfection.
He asks for invitation.
🕊️ Prayer for Day 10
Dear Jesus,
I want to make room for You today.
Not perfect room,
not quiet room,
just room.
Fill the spaces of my heart that feel heavy.
Enter the places that feel messy.
Speak peace into the rooms that feel loud.
Help me remember You are the greatest gift of this season.
Amen.
📝 Ask yourself today:
➡️ “What can I let go of, so I can let Jesus in?”
Then take ONE small step:
✔️ Before scrolling, whisper a prayer
✔️ Before rushing, take a deep breath
✔️ Before speaking, ask Jesus for peace
Small steps make big spiritual rooms. ✨
With love,
