When God Says “I’m Doing a New Thing” — Trust the New Beginning He Is Creating
π Isaiah 43:18–19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
My dear mom, sister, daughter of God…
Have you ever held onto something for so long—
a hurt, a memory, a failure, a disappointment, a broken promise, that letting go feels impossible? π
Maybe the past keeps replaying like a movie in your mind.
Maybe the pain feels fresher than the day it happened.
Maybe life looks like a dry desert where nothing good seems to grow.
But today God is gently whispering to your heart:
Not you will do.
Not maybe one day.
Not if everything becomes right.
But I AM.
Right now.
Even in the middle of your wilderness.
π THE GOD WHO SPECIALIZES IN IMPOSSIBLE PLACES
God doesn’t wait for perfect conditions.
He creates miracles in deserts. He opens paths through impossible places.
π When Israel stood before a Red Sea, He parted the waters.
π When they stood thirsty in the desert, He brought water from a rock.
π When they were surrounded by enemies, He became their shield.
And today He says the same over your situation:
π “I am making a way for you too.”
Maybe your desert is:
A broken marriage π₯Ί
Financial struggles π
A child’s sickness π‘️
Loneliness in motherhood π§‘
Job loss or waiting for an opportunity ⏳
Heart wounds that no one sees π§
Even there, God is working behind the scenes.
Even when you don’t feel it.
Even when nothing changes on the outside.
π± THE CALL TO LET GO
God says “Forget the former things.”
Because you cannot hold yesterday and tomorrow at the same time.
π‘ You cannot heal while holding the hurt.
Letting go is not weakness— It is trust.
It is worship.
It is saying, “Lord, I give You the pieces… You create the future.”
π THE NEW THING GOD IS DOING
God says:
✨ “It springs up — NOW.”
Not tomorrow
Not after conditions improve
Not when everything becomes perfect
Right now, God is growing something you cannot yet see.
Roots first grow underground
before a plant ever breaks through the soil.
Just because you cannot see progress
doesn’t mean God is not working.
He is preparing a miracle. π«
He is opening a path.
He is writing a testimony that will bless many.
π¬ HEART-TO-HEART QUESTIONS:
Pause for a moment and reflect:
π What is the “former thing” God is asking you to release today?
π What desert do you want God to bring streams into?
π Do you believe that God can make beauty out of this brokenness?
Say this with faith:
“Lord, I choose to trust You with my New beginning.”
A SHORT PRAYER FOR YOU:
Dear Jesus,
I surrender everything I cannot control my past, my pain, my fears, and my disappointments.
Help me release what is hurting me.
Open my eyes to see the new thing You are doing in my life.
Make a way where there seems to be no way..
Turn my desert into a garden, my tears into testimony,
and my waiting into worship.
Amen.
My dear sister,
You are not stuck.
You are being prepared.
The God who created a way in the wilderness is creating one for you too.
- Watch for it.
- Believe it.
- Receive it.
Because your new season is beginning. π✨
