The Unexpected Ministry of One Phone Call 📞🩷️

Dear Women of God,

Have you ever said something simple — like “Please take care of yourself” — and felt it travel deeper than you expected? 💭

A few years ago, I had such a moment — one that still lingers in my heart.

It was just another workday. My desk, my routine, my calls. Nothing extraordinary… until that one call changed everything. 📞

She answered in a soft, trembling voice — an elderly woman, alone, unsure, and a little tired of life. I was supposed to talk about a renewal, a plan, something routine. But that conversation turned into something sacred.

When I gently explained about the plan, she interrupted and said,

“Child, I don’t know anyone. I don’t have friends or relatives. I live alone. I don’t need anything.”

That silence after her words? It was loud. I felt it in my heart. 💔

Something within me whispered, “This is not about business. This is about love.”
So I said softly, “It’s okay, ma. Please take care of your health, okay?”

There was a pause. And then, with a cracked yet joyful tone, she said,

“Oh my little child… thank you. No one says that to me.”

And that moment — right there — felt like heaven leaned close. 🌤️

It wasn’t about the software, the job, or the task. It was about connection.

Sometimes, we think ministry means preaching or doing something grand. But often, ministry happens in ordinary moments — through one word, one call, one act of compassion. 💖

That day, I learned that God can use even our normal conversations to heal unseen hearts.

💫 Lesson for Every Woman

Dear sister, maybe you’re reading this and thinking — “I don’t do big things. I’m just a mom, a homemaker, or a woman juggling routines.”

But hear this: God works through your kindness.

That smile to a tired stranger.

That text to check on a friend.

That “please take care” to someone who needed to hear it.

Those tiny things? They echo in eternity. 🌈

When Jesus walked on this earth, He didn’t just perform miracles in crowds. He stopped for one Samaritan woman, one bleeding woman, one lonely tax collector. One at a time — because that’s how love moves. ❤️

🎶 Song Reflection Section

There’s a song I listened to after that call — one that reminded me of God’s heart for every lonely soul. 🎧

It talks about how His love finds us in forgotten places, and His voice says, “You are not alone.”

Just like that gentle reminder in the song, that day God used a small conversation to remind one woman — and me — that His compassion never misses an address.

📖 Bible Verse:

Psalm 34:18

Even when no one sees your tears, God does. And sometimes, He sends someone — even through a phone call — to remind you that you still matter.

A Short Prayer for you:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for teaching us that kindness is never wasted

Help me notice the silent hearts around me — the ones You love deeply.

Let my words carry comfort, my tone carry hope, and my heart carry Your compassion.

Amen.

We don’t always realize it, but we hold power — the power to heal through words.

Your gentle “How are you?” can break years of silence.

Your “Take care” can whisper heaven’s comfort.

Today, let’s be that gentle echo of love. Because when we choose kindness, we make Jesus visible. ✨

With love,
Anisha.
