🌿 Hey You, Still Holding On to Yesterday? God Says Let It Go.
Hey beautiful soul 💕,
Can I whisper something to your heart today? 🌸
You don’t have to keep carrying what broke you. You don’t have to keep replaying what hurt you. Sometimes, we hold on to moments that God already healed — just because we don’t know who we’d be without them. 😔
Let’s take a small walk through the Bible together 🚶♀️📖
Do you remember Lot’s wife from the book of Genesis? 🕊️
When God was rescuing Lot’s family from Sodom, He gave them one simple instruction — “Don’t look back.” But she did. And the moment she turned around, she became a pillar of salt. (Genesis 19:26)
Sometimes, dear heart 💔, we become frozen like her — not in salt, but in sadness.
We keep looking at what was instead of what could be.
We keep thinking, “If only…”, while God is gently whispering, “Move forward, my child.” 🌈
You see, God isn’t asking you to forget because He doesn’t care. He’s asking you to forget because He has something new to show you. 🌼
Reflection for You:
Sweet friend, maybe your “Sodom” isn’t a place — maybe it’s a memory.
Maybe it’s that one relationship that hurt, that one dream that failed, or that one season that drained you. 🌧️
But hear me out:
💫 You can’t receive new joy with hands full of old pain.
💫 You can’t walk into tomorrow while staring at yesterday.
💫 You can’t heal while holding on to what God has already released.
It’s time to turn around, breathe deep, and walk into the new thing God is preparing — because He’s waiting for you right there. 💐
Bible Verse:
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”
A Short Prayer for You:
Dear Lord,
Help me stop replaying the moments You’ve already redeemed.
Teach me to release my yesterday so I can receive Your tomorrow.
Replace my regrets with peace and my pain with Your promise.
Amen.
When you stop looking back, you finally see how far God has brought you. 🌈
💌 If this blog touched your heart, share it with a friend who might still be holding on to yesterday. Let her know — God is not done yet. 🌿✨
