He Named You Before the World Shamed You 🙌🌈
Hey beautiful souls 💕
Have you ever felt like you’re constantly fighting to prove who you are? Like the world has already stamped a label on you — too emotional, too weak, too late, not enough? 😔
I want you to take a deep breath right now, mama 🌿 Because before anyone called you “unworthy,” your Creator whispered another name over you — Chosen. Loved. His. 🙏
Let’s go back to a woman who knew what it felt like to be judged by the world — Mary Magdalene.
People saw her sin, but Jesus saw her soul.
When everyone else turned away, He turned toward her.
He didn’t see her as the woman who had fallen; He saw the woman who would rise. 🌅
When she broke her alabaster jar and poured the perfume on Jesus’ feet (Luke 7:37–38), people whispered.
They judged.
But Jesus said something powerful:
“Leave her alone. She has done a beautiful thing to Me.” ❤️
In that moment, He wasn’t just defending her — He was redefining her.
She was no longer “the woman with a past.”
She became the woman with a purpose.
Reflection for You:
Maybe you’ve been labeled by your mistakes.
Maybe you’ve been overlooked, misjudged, or spoken about harshly. 💔
But listen carefully — your story doesn’t end with the shame the world gave you.
God has already written your name in grace. ✍️
He called you His daughter before anyone could call you “not enough.” 🌈
So, the next time you feel the sting of judgment, remind your heart:
✨ “He named me before the world shamed me.” ✨
📖 Bible Verse:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.”
— Isaiah 43:1 💖
A Short Prayer for You:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for seeing me through Your eyes of love and not through the world’s judgment.
Help me remember that my name is written in grace — not in guilt.
Give me strength to walk boldly in the identity You gave me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
