When Kids Teach Us More Than We Teach Them π§
Hello my beautiful sisters π,
Let’s be honest — most of the time, we feel like we are the teachers in our children’s lives.
We give them instructions, correct their mistakes, make sure they eat on time, guide them in school, and try our best to shape their future. ππ©π§π¦
But have you noticed something? π€ The more time we spend with our kids, the more we realize — they end up teaching us some of the most valuable lessons in life. π
πΈ The Lesson of Living in the Moment
The other day, my little one stopped in the middle of the road just to watch an ant carrying a piece of food ππ. I was rushing, thinking of the bills, groceries, and work deadlines. But in that moment, he reminded me to slow down. π
π Dear sisters, aren’t we always in a hurry? Our children gently teach us that life is not just about racing. It’s about pausing, breathing, and appreciating the little wonders around us. πΊπ¦
πΈ The Lesson of Forgiveness
How many times have we scolded our kids out of frustration? π Maybe they spilled something, broke something, or didn’t listen. But within minutes, they come running back with their innocent smile, hugging us tightly, as if nothing happened π€π.
π Isn’t that true forgiveness? While we adults hold grudges, children show us how simple and freeing it is to forgive.
πΈ The Lesson of Pure Joy
Children find happiness in the smallest things π. A balloon π, a candy π, or even the sound of rain π§️ can make them dance with excitement. Meanwhile, we wait for “big things” — promotions, expensive gifts, or success — to feel happy.
π But isn’t joy hidden in these little blessings too? Our kids remind us that happiness is not found in riches, but in gratitude. π
πΈ The Lesson of Faith and Trust
When your child falls asleep in your lap π΄π€, do you see the trust they have in you? They don’t worry about tomorrow, bills, or problems. They just rest. That’s exactly how God wants us to lean on Him π.
π Through their innocent faith, our children mirror what the Bible says:
π “And a little child shall lead them.” – Isaiah 11:6 ✨
πΈ The Lesson of Resilience
When kids fall while learning to walk πΆ♂️, they never give up. They cry for a second π’, then try again. Sisters, how many of us give up after one failure? Our little ones show us that setbacks are not the end, but just a step toward growth. πͺπΌ
π‘ So, my dear friends, let’s not only think of ourselves as the teachers. Let’s also become humble students in the school of life where our kids are sometimes the best professors. ππΆ
Bible verse:
A Short Prayer for You:
Dear Lord,
I lift up every woman reading this right now π.
Give her eyes to see the lessons hidden in everyday motherhood πΈ.
When she feels tired, let her child’s laughter remind her of joy.
When she feels broken, let her child’s hug remind her of love.
And when she feels weak, let her child’s faith remind her of Your strength.
Amen.
