Love Series - Day 6: Love expressed in actions, not words 💭💖
💕 Day 6 of Love Series – Love Expressed in Actions, Not Words 💕
Dear sisters 🌺,
Sometimes the loudest “I love you” is not spoken with lips 👄 but shown with hands, feet, and hearts 💖.
A meal prepared 🍲, a child’s hand held 🤝, or a quiet sacrifice made in the background 🌙 — these become the truest language of love.
📖 In Acts 9:36–42, we read about Dorcas (also called Tabitha).
She wasn’t known for long speeches or fancy words 🗣️. Instead, she expressed love through her acts of kindness.
She sewed clothes 👗, helped widows 🤲, and cared for the needy 💕.
Her life of action was so powerful that when she died, the people wept 😢 and showed Peter all the garments she had made for them.
Their tears and testimonies proved that her love was alive in her works 🌹.
God even worked a miracle through Peter, raising her back to life 🙌 — because her hands of love had touched so many.
Reflection for You:
Dear sisters, how often do we, too, quietly show love in our homes and communities? 🌼
Waking up early to cook breakfast 🌅🍳
Sitting beside our children while they study 📖
Checking on a neighbor who is sick 🤍
Praying silently for our family 🙏
These small actions may feel ordinary, but they are extraordinary in God’s eyes 🌈. Just like Dorcas, our love becomes visible not by what we say, but by what we do.
📖 Bible Verse:
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18
A Short Prayer for You:
Lord Jesus,
Teach me to love not just with words but with actions 🌸.
May my hands serve, my feet walk toward those in need, and my heart overflow with kindness 💖.
Help me be like Dorcas — remembered for the love I live out daily. 🌈
Amen.
