When We Try to Hide… But He Already Knows

There are moments when we feel like hiding… hiding our mistakes, hiding our broken pieces, hiding the tears we cried when no one was watching πŸ˜”πŸ’§.

Maybe it’s a word we said that we wish we could take back. Maybe it's that one thing we're not proud of — the one we tuck away, thinking, “God won’t look here.”

But He does.

And not with anger, but with compassion. πŸ’«

Not to punish us, but to heal us.

Not to shame us, but to gently whisper, “I see you, and I still love you.” ❤️

I recently saw an image that pierced through my heart — a little child holding a scroll of “rules,” hiding it behind her back while standing before God. Her eyes full of fear. Isn’t that how we all are sometimes? Wanting to do right, but afraid when we fall short. πŸ™ˆ

This reminded me of the first time someone tried to hide from God…

In the garden, when Adam and Eve heard His footsteps after they had eaten the forbidden fruit 🍎🌿. They hid behind the trees, hoping He wouldn't notice.

But what did God do?

He called out: “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9) — not because He didn’t know, but because He still longed for their closeness.

Even in their failure, He came searching. πŸ’ž

That’s the God we serve, dear sister. Not a God who turns away from your worst days — but One who walks right into your mess with mercy in His hands 🀲✨.

He already knows… and yet, He still chooses you. Every single time.

So don’t hide that burden anymore. Lay it before Him. He is not surprised. He is not disappointed. He is waiting… to hold your heart and restore your peace. 🌈

πŸ“– Bible Verse:

"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar."

— Psalm 139:1-2 ✨

A Short Prayer for You:

Lord Jesus,

You know everything about me — even the parts I try to hide.

Thank You for loving me fully, not just in my strength, but even in my weakness.

Help me to stop hiding, and instead, start healing.

I want to walk openly in Your light.

Give me the courage to come as I am, and rest in Your grace. πŸ’—

Amen.
