The Season Between the Promise and the Miracle
Tell me honestly, sister 💕… have you ever been in that place where God has whispered a promise to your heart, but it feels like forever before you see it happen? ⏳✨
It’s not the beginning where you’re excited, and it’s not the end where you’re celebrating. It’s that middle season — the “in-between.”
And oh, how our hearts wrestle there! 💭
We know God can… but our question is, “When, Lord?”
I’m reminded of a woman we don’t talk about nearly enough — Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist 🌿.
Elizabeth loved God, served Him, and walked uprightly. Yet she carried an ache inside… the longing for a child 👶.
The years passed. People whispered. She may have even wondered if her prayers had been filed away and forgotten.
But here’s the truth I want you to hold onto 💡— God had not forgotten her.
In the silence of the waiting, He was writing a story far bigger than she could imagine.
One ordinary day, the angel Gabriel appeared with news that broke decades of stillness:
"Elizabeth, you will bear a son… and he will be great in the sight of the Lord.” (Luke 1:13)
Her son would be the very one who prepared the way for Jesus Himself 🌟.
If the answer had come earlier, it wouldn’t have fit God’s perfect plan.
So maybe today, you’re waiting for your own promise — a relationship to be restored, a prayer to be answered, a door to open 🚪💫. And maybe the waiting feels heavy.
But hear me — this middle season is not wasted.
It’s here that God shapes your heart, deepens your faith, and prepares the miracle so it arrives right on time.
📖 Bible Verse
"For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay."
– Habakkuk 2:3 ✨
A Short Prayer for You
Lord,
For every woman in the waiting season, wrap her in Your peace today.
Remind her that Your timing is never late, and that You are working even when she cannot see it.
Give her the courage to keep trusting, the strength to keep walking, and the hope to keep expecting her miracle.
Let her heart find joy even before the answer arrives.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
If this spoke to your heart today 💕, please share it with another woman who’s holding onto a promise.
And I’d love to hear your own waiting story — share it in the comments so we can encourage one another 🌿✨.
