A Gentle Whisper In The Storm 🛐
Hi dear sisters 💕,
Have you ever found yourself sitting quietly, when suddenly a memory comes alive in your heart?
Sometimes it’s a smile, sometimes a tear, and sometimes both together. Life has a way of gifting us with memories that are so precious yet tender to hold.
He doesn’t dismiss our tears; He collects them. And He whispers hope into the silence of our hearts. 🌿
Life often rushes by in a blur. We wake up, get busy with responsibilities, chase our goals, and worry about tomorrow, forgetting the people who make our today meaningful.
It’s only when life shakes us with an unexpected turn that we realize the true value of time spent with loved ones.
In our day-to-day lives, we take so many things for granted—especially the presence of family. We think there will always be another day to sit together, another chance to share our thoughts, another opportunity to express our love.
But sometimes, life reminds us how fragile it is, leaving us with a silence we never imagined.
The most painful lesson comes when we lose someone too soon.
The grief doesn’t just stay in the heart; it echoes in every memory, every unspoken word, and every little thing that reminds us of them. It teaches us how precious relationships are, how fleeting moments can be, and how important it is to hold on to the people we love while we still can.
So, if you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to call, to meet, to say “I love you,” or even just to sit with someone dear without distractions—don’t wait. The right time is always now.
One story from the Bible that always touches me in such moments is the story of Jesus at Lazarus’ tomb (John 11).
Lazarus had died, and his sisters Mary and Martha were grieving deeply.
When Jesus saw their pain, He wept. 💔 The Son of God Himself shared their sorrow, showing us that He truly understands the ache of loss.
But then, He spoke words of hope and brought Lazarus back to life. ✨
This reminds us, dear ones, that even in our deepest grief, Jesus stands beside us—not distant, but near.
Bible verse:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
– Psalm 34:18
What a promise, sisters! 🌸 Even when we feel crushed, God’s nearness becomes our comfort.
A Short Prayer for You:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for being close to us in every season.
We bring before You the tender places of our hearts, where memories live.
Heal our wounds, Lord, and remind us that You are our eternal hope.
May we find peace in Your presence, and may our tears turn into testimonies of Your love.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.” 💕
A Personal Note 💔
This reflection is not just a general thought, but also a deeply personal one.
A year ago, I lost my cousin, someone very young, full of innocence and life.
The pain of his absence is still raw, and not a day passes without remembering him.
He may no longer be with us physically, but his memory lives on in our hearts.
