Shattered at Home, Sheltered in His Heart

Dear sister…

Maybe you’re reading this hiding in the bathroom, with shaking hands.

Maybe you’ve learned to walk lightly, speak softly, and breathe quietly — because even your breath feels dangerous in your own home.

You’ve heard the words:

“It’s your fault.”

“Who will believe you?”

“Stay… for the children.”

And part of you started to believe those lies.

That your tears don’t matter.

That your bruises are yours to carry.

That no one sees… no one cares.

But listen to me, precious soul:

🌿 God sees.

🌿 God knows.

🌿 God weeps with you.

He saw the first time, the last time, and every silent night in between.

He has counted every tear that soaked your pillow.

And He has never, ever turned His face away from you.

You may feel worthless.

But to Him, you are priceless.

You may feel trapped.

But to Him, you are worth rescuing.

Even if you don’t see a way out yet, He is already making one.

Even if you’ve lost your voice, He still hears your heart.

🀍 You are not what was done to you.

You are His beloved daughter.

And your story isn’t over — because His love will never let go.

πŸ“– Bible Verse:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18

A Short Prayer for You:

Lord,

Wrap her in Your comfort tonight.

Remind her she is loved, worthy, and not alone.

Give her courage to seek safety, hope to keep going,

and the strength to believe: she still matters.

Amen.

πŸ’” You’re not what happened to you. God still holds your broken heart.

If this whispered to your soul, share it with another woman who might need it too. 🌿✨
