Overthinking Everything, Trusting Him Anyway ✝️🛐

An Honest Letter to the Overthinking Heart....

Hey sweet friend, 💌

Let me guess…

Your mind is racing again, isn’t it?

Thinking of that one word someone said last week...

That thing you didn’t do right...

Worrying about tomorrow’s ‘what ifs’ when today hasn’t even finished. 😔

You're not alone.

Overthinking has a way of making our hearts tired before the day even begins. 💭💔

It tricks us into carrying the weight of problems that haven’t even happened yet.

Let me gently ask you this:

Are you really solving anything? Or just drowning in thoughts you never needed to entertain? 😞

🧠 Overthinking… It’s Not Just a Thought Problem. It’s a Heart Problem.

You want to be a good mom.

You want to make the right decision.

You want peace, not pressure.

But the fear of failing makes you replay, rethink, and rehearse everything until your mind is exhausted. 😩💔

Sound familiar?

Even Martha from the Bible felt like that.

In Luke 10:41, Jesus gently tells her:

“Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things...”

But only one thing was needed. And that one thing was simply to sit with Jesus. 💕

Not solve.

Not fix.

Just sit.

Just be.

That’s the grace you’re allowed to have too. ✨

🌿 What If You Tried This Instead?

📌 When your thoughts start spiraling — pause and breathe.

📖 Whisper, “Lord, calm the storm inside me.”

🧘‍♀️ Let His peace take the lead, not your fear.

God never asked you to carry the weight of the future.

He just asked you to walk with Him today.

One moment. One breath. One decision at a time. 🌤️

Bible verse:

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
— 1 Peter 5:7 ✨

A Short Prayer For You:

Dear Lord,

My thoughts often run faster than my faith.
In moments when my mind feels like a battlefield, gently remind me that You are the calm in my storm.

As I come before You, I lay down every worry, every overthinking moment, and I receive Your peace in return.

Amen.

So hey, beautiful soul, Stop punishing yourself for overthinking.

You're not weak. You're just worn. 🫂

Come back to your center. Come back to His peace.
You don’t have to figure it all out.
You just have to trust the One who already has. 🙏✨
