π‘If You’re Still Praying for a Home, This Is for You
Having your own house is a big dream for many women.
For years, I lived in rented houses. I adjusted to what was given. I couldn’t fix things how I liked. I couldn’t paint the walls the colour I wanted. Even putting a nail in the wall needed permission.
But deep inside, I always prayed,
“Lord, one day… please give us our own home.”
And then, that day came.
Holding the key in my hand, I didn’t see just a house.
I saw answered prayers. I saw God’s faithfulness.
It may not be perfect. It may take time to fully set up.
But it’s ours, and it’s filled with peace.
Because where God lives, there is rest.
✨ There’s a woman in the Bible who didn’t have a fancy house, but she had a welcoming heart.
In 2 Kings 4, a woman made a small room for the prophet Elisha — a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp. That little space became a place of blessing and miracles. Later, God blessed her with a child.
So even if your house feels small or simple today,
your love and faith can fill it with God’s presence.
And that is what makes it beautiful.
π Bible Verse
“The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”
— Proverbs 14:1
A short prayer for you:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for the roof over my head.
Bless this home with peace, joy, and love.
Help me to be a wise woman who builds my home with grace.
Let every room carry Your presence.
And Lord, I also pray for every woman who is still waiting for her own house,
please open doors, make a way, and bless her with a home of her own,
sooner than she expects.
You are our provider, and nothing is too hard for You.
Amen.
π Dear woman,
Maybe you’re still waiting for your own house.
Maybe you’ve just moved in.
Maybe your house is noisy, messy, or not how you imagined.
But remember this:
A house becomes a home when God is in it.
Keep loving. Keep praying. Keep trusting.
And when the time is right,
