Beyond Gold and Jewels: A Woman’s Worth Cannot Be Measured
I don’t know her personally.
But when I read the news of the young bride in Tirupur who died just 78 days after marriage… my heart felt heavy.
📿 They gave so much — 300 sovereigns of gold, a car worth lakhs… yet it wasn’t enough.
The price they wanted was her peace, her dignity, her very life.
And she paid the highest price.
This isn’t just “another dowry death” — this is a daughter, a sister, a friend, a woman who once dreamed of a happy married life.
My dear sister reading this:
🌱 Maybe you too are living under silent fear.
🌱 Maybe you’re hearing words that break your spirit every day.
🌱 Maybe you feel like nothing you give is enough.
Hear me:
✨ Your life is worth more than gold.
✨ God never created you to be weighed on scales of money, jewels, or cars.
✨ Your worth was set on the cross — it can never be bought or sold.
And if you ever find yourself thinking, “It’s better to die than to live like this…”
Please, pause.
Cry out to God.
Reach out to someone who loves you, truly loves you — a parent, a friend, even a stranger who will listen.
Because your life is a precious light in this world.
You are not replaceable.
May we raise our voices, pray for every woman forced to choose between life and dignity — and stand against this darkness together.
📖 Bible Verse:
“You are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you.”
— Isaiah 43:4
A Short Prayer for You:
Lord,
For every woman living under fear, remind her she is precious to You.
Give her courage to speak, strength to leave if needed,
and peace that comes only from Your love.
Amen.
