Becoming More Like Him — Not Like Her
Hey sweet soul,
Have you ever found yourself trapped in comparison? Looking at another woman and thinking,
“She’s a better mom…”
“She’s more spiritual…”
“She looks more confident…”
We live in a world that constantly measures us against one another — from Instagram stories to family gatherings. Slowly, without realizing, we begin to chase a version of ourselves we were never called to be.
But, dear sister, God isn’t calling you to be like her. He’s calling you to be like Him. 💫
He wants your gentle spirit, your quiet sacrifice, your unseen tears, your whispered prayers. He sees your heart when no one else does.
Let me remind you: Your calling is not to imitate another woman’s success, style, or season. Your calling is to walk with Jesus, and let Him shape you from the inside out.
Mary Magdalene – A Woman Set Apart
Mary Magdalene wasn’t like the others. Her past was messy, her name carried weight, and yet — she was one of the closest to Jesus. She wasn’t trying to be like Peter or John or Martha. She simply followed Jesus with devotion, humility, and love.
And guess what? Jesus honored that. 💗
She was the first to witness the risen Savior! That’s what happens when you stop comparing and start becoming — more like Him.
📖 Bible Verse:
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think."
- Romans 12:2
A Short Prayer for You:
Dear Lord,
Help me to take my eyes off others and fix them on You.
Teach me to walk in my own calling,
To become more like You in love, grace, and truth.
Let me bloom in the identity You’ve placed within me.
Amen.
